"In the light: A fluff lying around a watery surface" is a macro photo of a small fluff of the morning star. This fluff is lying on a reflective surface with water droplets, and very small water droplets are also hanging from the fluff itself. Because of the warm light and the turquoise/blue background, this work has a soft warm glow about it.
When making this work, I chose a small depth of field, which means that only a small part is in focus and everything behind (and in front of) the focus is blurred, the further away from it, the blurrier. This gives a dreamy mood and also a sense of depth to the work. If you zoom in on the work, you can make sense of this. The focus is at the point where the stalk turns into the fluff. A little further on, you can already see the droplets slowly turn into vague circles. The same happens on the background, where the droplets slowly fade from sharpness to a part where you can no longer see them.
Beautiful for, for example, above your bed in the bedroom, in the waiting room or in the meeting room as wall decoration (business). Or of course just above the sofa in the living room!
