It was a beautiful day, the sixth of August 2017, at TT-Circuit Assen where the BossGP was racing. Here you can see Austrian Ingo Gerstl in the Toro Rosso STR1-F1. A beautiful Formula 1 car with a 10 cylinder 3000cc Cosworth TJ engine (up to 16,700 rpm). This car comes from Scuderia Toro Rosso and was first used in 2006. The driver at the time was Vitantonio Liuzi. The photo was taken in the right-hand turn at the end of the straight. It is going fast and hard, and the joy is even greater because of the fantastic sound of this car.
Ingo Gerstl drives for team Top Speed in the BossGP. By the way, he is also technical director there.
With this car, Gerstl won the BossGP 4 years in a row, from 2016 to 2020. In 2022, he also leads the standings again.
Before his motorsport career, Gerstl was a motorcycle racer. And also successful, but after more than 40 broken bones he called it quits.
