This photo was taken in 1999 in the south of Vietnam in the Mekong Delta during a month-long photo trip with my former photo partner. The picture motif is characterised by a peaceful, calming atmosphere. The little Vietnamese girl sleeps without fear in her enchanting hammock.
This analogue photo was taken with the Nikon F90X and an analogue black and white 35mm film from Efke 100 Asa.
The reduction to classic black and white lends the motif a timeless, elegant character.
