Isolde by INGO

With the Fine Art portrait ‘Isolde’, you’ll be bringing an evocative masterpiece, full of mystery and tenderness, into your home. This work depicts a young woman with a serene, timeless gaze and luxuriant blonde curls, tenderly cradling a long-haired cat in her arms. What immediately catches the eye is the fascinating connection between human and animal: both gaze at the viewer with striking, crystal-clear blue eyes. These sapphire-blue gazes form a beautiful and cool contrast to the otherwise warm, deep earth tones of the painting.

This digital artwork has been refined with the utmost precision in the tradition of the Old Masters. The style is heavily inspired by the Baroque and Renaissance periods, utilising the classical chiaroscuro technique (light-dark contrast). The soft, golden raking light illuminates the woman’s face and the soft texture of the cat’s fur, whilst the background fades atmospherically into deep shadows.
