The "It's not all black or white" series is a representation of the dualism of creativity and life itself: light and dark; body and mind; confusion and clarity. One cannot exist without the other. Creativity to me is finding the balance between all or nothing; As long as we remain open to the full range of colors between black and white, I believe we can surprise ourselves beyond our imagination.
Inspiration for this series is the raisin tree in our garden that was just in full bloom. The blossom is beautifully white and delicate and reminded me of meringue with sweet cream. To emphasize the texture of the ingredients, I chose monochromatic styling (i.e. 1 color).
Within the photos, there is also an ascending styling choice; from minimalist like the first image to a full table setting like the fifth image.
The images can be chosen separately but are also beautiful as a white, black or black and white series of for example 2 or 3 prints.
All orders will be donated to Giro 555 to help Ukraine.
