Jerdon's Pit Viper is a venomous viper found in mountainous regions of Southeast Asia, particularly in parts of China, India, Vietnam, and Myanmar. This snake primarily inhabits forested areas at altitudes between 600 and 3000 meters, often in moist, rocky environments such as ravines and steep slopes. The diet of this snake consists of a variety of small animals, including rodents, birds, lizards, and frogs. They use their venomous bite to paralyze their prey and kill it with a combination of venom and their powerful jaws.
