About the artwork

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre or Resurrection (Latin: "Sanctum Sepulchrum") is a Christian church in the walled Old City in Jerusalem. The church is also called the Church of the Resurrection. According to tradition, it was built on the spot where Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected: the Holy Sepulcher. It has been an important place of pilgrimage since the 4th century. At the site of the church there have been several churches, which were lost during wars and fires. The current building dates from 1149 and was built in early Gothic style.

Otto Henry Bacher (May 31, 1856, Cleveland, USA - August 16, 1909, Bronxville, NY) was an American artist; best known for his etchings and illustrations. He also painted oils in various genres. He was born into a family of German descent. In 1878, he accompanied Adams to Europe for studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Germany.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
