About ‘Jindo in Seoul’ by Erika Kaisersot

Seoul offers a fascinating blend of centuries-old tradition and modern city life. Amidst historic hanok houses, bustling streets and the hills surrounding the N Seoul Tower, an atmosphere emerges that harmoniously unites the past and the present. It is precisely this special way of life that I wanted to capture in this photograph.

At the centre sits a friendly Jindo – South Korea’s best-known breed of dog – in front of a bowl of bibimbap, one of the country’s most popular dishes. The colourful composition symbolises diversity, hospitality and the joy of discovering new cultures through their cuisine. Blossoming cherry trees, traditional architecture and lovingly rendered details turn this scene into a mini-journey to Korea.

The nostalgic style is reminiscent of classic travel posters and invites you to discover Seoul through fresh eyes. This design is intended to stir a longing for travel whilst bringing the warmth, harmony and unique character of Korean culture into your own home.

It is part of the ‘Discovering the World with Dogs’ collection, in which distinctive dog breeds, regional specialities and famous travel destinations are transformed into evocative travel stories.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
