About ‘Keizersgracht Amsterdam’ by Michael van der Burg

The Keizersgracht, the second of Amsterdam's three main canals that make up the canal, situated between Herengracht and Prinsengracht. The first part of the Keizersgracht (between Brouwersgracht and (about) the current Leidsegracht was dug in the summer of 1615 at the initiative of Mayor French Hendricksz. Oetgens, town carpenter Hendrick Jacobsz Staets and city surveyor Lucas Jansz Sinck. The Keizersgracht, named after Emperor Maximilian I of the Holy Roman Empire,[1] is the widest canal in the centre of Amsterdam, namely Amsterdam hundred feet, ie 28.31 metres. In September 1614 came yet the idea to create a chic boulevard without water from the Keizersgracht example of the Hague Voorhout. Since one has as seen for several reasons. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
