About ‘Kirkjufellsfoss, Iceland’ by Samantha van Leeuwen

September 2021 was the day, after a year's delay, due to Corona, we were finally allowed to travel to Iceland! What a vast country, with bizarrely vast landscapes. From moss-covered mountains, waterfalls, vast landscapes inland to volcanoes erupting at the time, very impressive!
This photo shows the well-known kirkjufellsfos, a waterfall which can be nicely positioned in the photo with Kirkjufell mountain in the background.
I thought it would be nice to play a little with the shutter speed here to create soft shapes in the waterfall, a nice contrast with Iceland's rugged landscape!
