Kirkstone Pass is an impressive mountain pass in the English county of Cumbria. The narrow road runs through the heart of the English Lake District and connects the towns of Ambleside and Patterdale. Many hiking trails start along this road. The road is characterized by the barren landscape with many stone walls and the occasional lone tree.
