The Kortlandse Molen in Alblasserdam is a stone polder mill dating from 1890. It used to stand by the water to keep the Kortland polder area dry with a scoop wheel, until 1953 when an electric pumping station took over. The mill has a special round shape and a thatched roof. Since 1986, it has been run by volunteers of Molenstichting SIMAV and is a national monument. You will find it at Kortland 36 in Alblasserdam.
