About ‘Krems on the Danube’ by Erik Buitenhuis
The sun is shining on the church in Krems an der Donau, but a storm cloud hangs above it, making the church stand out in the photograph.
The shape of the church is also unusual. You can make out a mouth and two eyes in the windows, with the clock on the forehead and the roof resembling a Bismarck helmet, with the spire as its tip.

I love travelling, ice skating and photography. I did a lot of the latter whilst travelling, but having taken part in a few photography projects, I now view photography differently and make different choices.
I’m an amateur but enjoy sharing my work with others, for a small fee (the vast majority of the costs are for materials and processing).
I’ve only just started here (and showing my work), so do pop back soon for more lovely photos.
