Opened in 1998, the Hemisfèric was the first building of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències to open its doors to the public. It is a spectacular building designed by Santiago Calatrava, with an egg-shaped shell more than 100 metres long, which is located inside the large sphere that is the projection space.
