A delicate morning mist hovers over the smooth surface of the lake. The water seems to be breathing, barely moving, broken only by the slight trembling of a dragonfly's wing. Sky and reflection flow into each other in soft, watercolour-like transitions - it is no longer possible to tell where one ends and the other begins.
The colours dance in pastel shades: soft blue, muted green, a hint of gold where the sun sends its first rays. Every brushstroke of the waterbrush style captures this moment between dream and awakening - flowing, transparent, alive.
On the shore, a blade of grass bends as if listening to the water. A distant silhouette - perhaps a boat, perhaps just an illusion - rests on the surface like a thought that has not yet been spoken.
Time is lost in this lake landscape. Everything becomes light, almost enraptured. And those who linger understand: The water paints with light, and the wind completes the picture.
