This is a typical example of the landscape of the Yorkshire Dales in northern England. The landscape is quite barren and there are many areas of bog. Sheep graze and there are many small field barns. There are also many stone walls that run across the fields. In addition to rolling mountains, there are a number of high peaks and steep valleys. The area is part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and also part of the Unesco World Heritage.
