Together with the Bosjes van Poot, the Westduin Park forms a nature reserve within the municipal boundary of The Hague. Together, they cover 235 hectares. The two parks are separated by the Nieboerweg, a connecting road between Scheveningen and The Hague South-West, which is also crossed by tram 12. Scheveningen harbour and the Afvoerkanaal canal define the northwestern boundary; to the south lies the Kijkduin district. Furthermore, the Westduin Park lies between the beach and the city: the Vogelwijk and Bohemen neighbourhoods lie against it, the Duindorp district is surrounded by it.
