About ‘Leidschendam - Windmill the Salamander’ by Frank Smit Fotografie
Molen de Salamander is a wood sawmill and is located on the Vliet in Leidschendam. Built in 1777 and in operation until 1953, the mill fell into considerable disrepair after which it was rebuilt in 1989 and has been in operation again, on a voluntary basis, since 1995.
