About the artwork

A beautiful morning at sunrise in August 2019 on the Dokkumer Ee. The photo was taken between Bartlehiem and Birdaard, on the Elfsteden route between Leeuwarden and Dokkum. After a chilly and foggy night on board, a new day dawned. Pictured is a Lemsteraak on mirror-smooth water, illuminated by the rising sun. The ship's crew is still in deep rest and they miss the glow of the day today. What a unique and serene atmosphere. The fog is slowly receding and the sun is gently warming the earth.

The beautiful pastel shades of this work give a warm atmosphere. The work gives off a beautiful light of its own. As a photographer, you can only be very happy if you can capture the atmosphere like this in a photograph. The beautiful string light on the scaffolding is the icing on the cake. Despite relatively low light, the photo could be taken with a low ISO. This ensures a clear image without noise.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
