The blue of the harbour and evening sky contrasts beautifully with the yellow/orange (street) lights, the castle is beautifully lit by several floodlights and towers high above the village.
Lerici is a (still) picturesque fishing village on the Gulf of La Spezia, and is close to the famous Portovenere, and the 5 villages of the famous Cinque Terre.
Tourism has rightly discovered the village's beauty and scenic location, and in high season it can be quite crowded. But the intact old part is well worth a visit, and the view from the perched castle is fantastic.
