This is the spiral staircase in the Lyngvig Fyr in Hvide Sande, Denmark, near the Ringkøbing Fjord.
The photo was taken with the frog perspective, i.e. from bottom to top. This makes it look just like a snail's shell. The lighthouse is 38 metres high and stands on a high dune. Hvide Sande, the place where this lighthouse stands, means White Sand. Recently, there was a TV series, White Sands, set in and around this lighthouse. Fyr is the Danish word for fire.
