At the end of February 2019 it is almost spring time, and everywhere these little boys and girls are sticking their heads above ground level in the attempt to absorb the necessary heat. With an old Chinon analogue 28 mm lens in combination with a macro intermediate ring on a tripod, I was able to capture this lonely youth.
By playing with various techniques such as digital brushes and oil paint spatulas, giving the background its own input, this image was ultimately created.
