About ‘Little houses’ by Irene Lommers

These houses from the pretty town of Goedereede are on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. Which is the bottom island of South Holland. Goedereede is a picturesque town where many artists have found their home. Some Dutch celebrities, whose names I will not mention for privacy reasons, also live here or in the beautiful nearby Oostdijk, which borders the dunes of the North Sea. About three kilometres further on is the village of Ouddorp aan zee which is known to many tourists who spend their holidays here every summer. Everything around you still exudes peace and quiet, although there is plenty of entertainment for young and old.
