About "Lonely in the Sky - Chairlift No 16"

About the artwork

??️ Between heaven and earth, a moment of silence ?️?

? What do you see in this work?
An iconic mountain landscape captured in a moment of stillness. At the centre of the image, an empty chairlift number 16 floats, detached from the ground, caught between the peaks and valleys of Dorf Tirol and Meran. The subtle tension between movement and silence makes this image intriguing: who was sitting there, and where will this chair take the next traveller?

? My inspiration for this work
There is something magical about mountain lifts - they connect worlds, high and low, departure and destination. This sculpture plays with the idea of solitude and adventure, a chair waiting for its next passenger, floating in an elusive moment.

? The mood I am trying to set
This work exudes a sense of anticipation and timelessness. The empty chair in a vast setting creates a hushed, almost melancholic atmosphere, in which the viewer can lose himself.

? Special technique
The composition places chair number 16 in the centre, giving the image a strong balance and minimalist feel. The lines of the lift cables guide the eye through the image, while the surrounding nature gives a sense of depth and serenity.

? Why would this work fit into your interior?
This artwork is perfect for lovers of mountains, travel and minimalist photography. It adds a calm yet powerful element to a modern, industrial or Scandinavian interior. The neutral tones and subtle tension make it a captivating statement piece.

?A hushed moment on the way to Meran a pearl in South Tyrol.
