The Long-legged Buzzard is a large species of buzzard that occurs in dry steppe areas in southeastern Europe, northern Africa and western Asia. The Long-legged Buzzard searches for its prey in flight, from a perch or from the ground. This bird of prey mainly eats small mammals, reptiles and large insects; sometimes small to medium-sized birds.
