The broad-billed heron is a really nice species. It is part of the heron family, but where you expect them to have a very long pointed beak this is not the case now. They are usually sheltered in the reed.

Because you want to reminisce about your travels I bought a camera to shoot some nice pictures. It soon turned out that I really liked photography and especially nature and animals. Since then I also started to discover beautiful areas in the Netherlands and I found it more and more fun to spot animals.
