About the artwork

The picture shows an old, stationary carousel in the middle of the forest. The delicately illuminated lights nostalgically frame the ornately decorated wooden horses, while fallen leaves and puddles cover the ground. A fine mist pervades the scenery and immerses the background in mystical gloom. The scenery appears to be from another time - fairytale-like and mysterious at the same time.

Inspiration:
I wanted to capture the magic of the lost - that feeling when you come across something that belongs to the past but still has a touch of life in it. When I visualised a carousel in the middle of an abandoned forest, it was immediately clear: this is not a place of mourning, but one of quiet memories. I wanted to use light, fog and surroundings to build a bridge between the joy of childhood and transience.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
