About the artwork

The picture shows an old, overgrown railway track that leads into an abandoned railway tunnel. The entire path is surrounded by dense, lush greenery, which nature is slowly reclaiming. The mist hanging between the tall fir trees lends the scene a mystical, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The tracks are rusty, the wood brittle - and yet your gaze is inevitably drawn into the depths of the tunnel.

Inspiration:
With this work of art, I wanted to depict the power of nature, but also the fascination of the unknown. I am inspired by the idea of what lies behind the tunnel - the past, the forgotten or perhaps a new beginning? The picture is intended to arouse curiosity and awe, but also to radiate a certain calm. For me, it is a symbol of paths that end - or begin.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
