The Alpe Adria Cycle Path leads from Salzburg through the Alps to Grado on the Italian Adriatic. Part of the route runs along old railway lines that have been wonderfully prepared as cycle paths. Along the route you can still find many of the old railway stations and trackside houses.
On the day the picture was taken, it was rainy and the clouds hung low in the valley. The conversion to black and white shows the great atmosphere that this created.
