Lotus of Still Light

by But First Framing

In this work, a large lotus flower opens like a gentle flame in a calm, light-filled space. The petals seem to float layer upon layer, in warm shades of orange, copper, red and soft gold. At the base, dark blue-green forms lend depth and balance, as if the flower were rooted in silence and slowly growing towards the light.

Behind the flower are delicate lines, circles and grids. They lend the image a sense of order, harmony and ancient wisdom. It seems as though the flower is not only blooming, but also following a secret pattern. The background has a weathered, warm appearance, making the artwork feel like an old sketch, a spiritual symbol and a modern wall decoration all at once.

The atmosphere is calm, warm and almost meditative. This work radiates tranquillity, yet also strength. The lotus takes centre stage as a symbol of growth, beauty and inner balance. The combination of natural forms and geometric lines is unique. As a result, the image feels both organic and deliberately constructed, as if nature and art meet in silence.
