About ‘Luskentyre Beach’ by Paul van Vliet

Luskentyre beach is one of the largest and most spectacular beaches on the Scottish island of Harris. Luskentyre beach can be found on the west coast of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Voted one of the world's best beaches, Luskentyre Beach, carved into the island at the edge of a wide bay at the mouth of an estuary several kilometres wide, is bordered on either side by extensive sand dunes. Luskentyre beach has kilometres of white sand and beautiful teal waters. From this position, you have a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains.

At low tide, a whole section of the interior comes dry. At high tide, most of it is flooded again.

Luskentyre beach offers unparalleled scenery, especially in late spring and summer, when the evening light lingers and the retreating tide reveals a vast area of gullies and sandbanks. At Luskentyre, in addition to beaches, you will also find beautiful sand dunes.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
