About ‘MIRRORING TREES 02’ by Aad Holkamp

In my work, I explore the delicate interplay between nature and abstraction, often focusing on reflections in water. Using black-and-white photography, I try to reveal the intricate patterns created by the dancing branches on the water's surface, creating a dialogue between light and shadow. This medium allows me to reduce complex shapes to their essence, inviting viewers to experience the subtleties of nature.

I am fascinated by the fleeting beauty of reflections, which serve as a metaphor for perception and reality. Each image embodies a moment of stillness and invites contemplation and introspection. Influenced by the fluidity of water and the organic shapes of trees, my work seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and connection with the environment.

Through this exploration, I strive to challenge conventional perspectives and transform familiar scenes into abstract compositions.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
