The little port of Maassluis is a picturesque picture that attracts many tourists. It offers a beautiful view of the Sint-Nicolaaskerk, which dates from the 17th century. The church is a prominent building in Maassluis' skyline and has impressive architecture with a tall tower and an ornate dome. The little harbour itself is also very photogenic, with a collection of picturesque fishermen's cottages and old buildings along the waterfront. Several historic ships are also docked there, adding to the atmosphere. The reflection of the buildings and boats in the calm water completes the picture.
