Macizo de Anaga by Raymond Trienekens

Away from Tenerife's bustling beaches and lively nightlife, the Anaga Mountains offer an enchanting contrast, an oasis of tranquillity and natural splendour. Located in the north-east of this enchanting Spanish island, the Anaga Mountains are a true jewel of biodiversity and rugged beauty.

Part of the Anaga Rural Park, this almost magical landscape is characterised by its steep cliffs, deep ravines and ancient laurel forests. The lush green vegetation and the mystical mist surrounding the peaks create an atmosphere akin to a forgotten era, a world full of secrets and wonders.

Hikers and nature lovers will be entranced by the extensive networks of trails that wind through the mountains. These trails reveal breathtaking views of the coastline, hidden coves and dramatic cliffs towering high above the ocean. The Anaga Mountains is not just a travel destination; it is an open invitation to explore the beautiful flora and fauna of this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Moreover, the Anaga Mountains offer a rich cultural experience. In the charming mountain villages, you can sample traditional Canarian dishes and interact with the hospitable locals, who treasure the secrets of this remote paradise.

The Anaga Mountains are a haven for adventurers, dreamers and nature lovers, and a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully absorb the enchanting beauty of nature.
