About ‘Madeira sunrise - Pico do Arieiro’ by Chantal Touw

Pico do Arieiro is one of Madeira's highest peaks and offers breathtaking views of Madeira's nature. From 1,818 metres high, you look down on vast landscapes, colourful flowers, brown, yellow and red-coloured rocks and the sea in the distance. On holiday in Madeira, we visited Pico do Ariero at an altitude of 1,818 metres. Taking a scenic route through the mountains on a motorbike, we reached the summit and got to enjoy this beautiful view during sunrise at 6am. You have to give it a go, but it's a special and impressive image that reflects the glow of the rising sun, cloud cover and mountains. Consequently, we were not the only ones visiting this spot. People even applauded when the sun had fully risen. Something quite special, as if it really was a performance for the people. With this photo, I want to take others to this special moment and feeling of admiration and warmth. A beautiful work on the wall for nature lovers or those who also admire the sunrise.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
