Singapore's most famous building. Photographed from a new perspective. The building is not immediately recognizable because of this it does make for an interesting image. The fine line work in the middle is a beautiful detail. And the round lines of the building come out subtly. The conversion to black and white accentuates the lines of this building.
I tried to photograph a world-famous building in a new and unfamiliar way. By choosing this perspective, recognition does not take place immediately, but you can focus on what you see. For some the recognition will then come, for most the "oh yeah!" moment will come only when you tell them what is there to see.
With this I tried to create an image that manages to hold the attention and provides an absolute eye-catcher.
