About ‘Maurik hydropower plant .’ by Jose Lok

The Maurik hydropower plant was built in 1988 by the PGEM (turned into Nuon, now Vattenfall) directly south of the Amerongen weir and lock complex. The weir in the Lower Rhine at Amerongen creates a height difference of up to 4 metres and the Maurik hydropower plant takes advantage of this. This power station has a capacity of 10 MW generated by 4 Kaplan water turbines, each coupled to a 2530 kW generator. Annually, the plant produces an average of 20-24 GWh of electricity. That is enough for about 7,000 households. source wikipedia.

My husband ( Arie Lok ) and I are both fanatical photographers so we regularly go out together to photograph beautiful landscapes, animals, birds and actually everything that is beautiful.
He with his Nikon and I with my Canon.
We were regularly asked to do something with these photos, this made me decide to open this webshop.
Here you will see both of us, even though my name is on it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
