When visiting Tikal (Guatemala), you may probably come across lovely temples while strolling through the rainforest and passing wildlife like garland monkeys and other creatures. Previously, the plaster on these temples was colored, generally red or blue. I'd highly recommend it to anyone because it was a wonderful experience.
During the classical era, Tikal was one of the largest Maya cities. One of the most important towns in Mayan civilization's classical era was Tikal. A Guatemalan expedition didn't find Tikal again until 1848.
The culture of the Maya is well-known. The Mesoamerican civilization is the only pre-Columbian culture with a complete script, according to research. Additionally, this civilization is well-known for its agricultural engineering, mathematics, art, and astronomy.
