Red Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing classic sports car.

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL “Gullwing,” (W198 I) produced from 1954 to 1957, is one of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history. Originally derived from the brand’s successful W194 racing car, it was introduced as a road-going coupe with distinctive upward-opening “gullwing” doors, a necessity due to its high, tubular spaceframe chassis.
Powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six engine with Bosch mechanical fuel injection—a pioneering technology at the time—it produced around 215 horsepower, enabling a top speed of up to 160 mph (257 km/h), making it the fastest production car of its era. The lightweight frame and aerodynamic bodywork delivered exceptional performance, while its long hood, low-slung profile, and signature doors created a timeless silhouette.

Beyond its striking appearance, the Gullwing was a technical marvel, boasting a spaceframe that offered remarkable rigidity without excessive weight. This design, along with its advanced aerodynamics and high-speed stability, made it as much a precision tool as a showpiece.

Produced in limited numbers—only 1,400 coupes—the 300SL Gullwing became an instant collectible.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
