The Tweede Broekermolen is a windmill built in 1631. The mill drained the Uitgeester- and Heemskerkerbroekpolder with four other mills. The windmill, which is inhabited, is located near the port area of Uitgeest, in the outlying area between the village of Uitgeest and Krommeniedijk.
The mill is an octagonal polder mill of the ground-sailer type with a low, stone base and a wooden, thatched superstructure. The weighing is pot covered. The inside of the upper part of the house is black soot, because smoke from the stove used to pass through the mill.
The mill is a topmounted wheel with an inner wheelbarrow. The mill can be spiced with the wheel or with an electric motor. The wheelbarrow consists of wooden and iron rollers in wooden trolleys, where several wooden rollers no longer carry.
