About ‘Mill quadrangle Zevenhuizen’ by MZ! Photography

The serene polder. A primeval Dutch sight where tranquillity meets you from the photo.
The Zevenhuizen mill quadrangle is in my backyard. The great thing is that it is still one of the last functioning quadrangles. When there is a lot of water from the polder, these ancient giants lend a hand in pumping the water away to the Rotte river.

The river Rotte has its origins in Moerkapelle and winds through the landscape of the various polders to Rotterdam. A direct connection from the polder to the city, in other words.

A minimalist work that brings peace to your space, good for use in larger spaces.

During my walks and bike rides, the camera is always with me. And even though this is a familiar scene, it is different every time, the sky, the colouring, the surface of the water. That is what makes photography in the polder so unique. You can repeat the same scene endlessly because each one is different.

I take my time to make a good composition and adjust the camera so that the image is as natural as possible.
You imagine yourself in the polder for a moment when you stand in front of it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
