Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Minimalist London’ by Marith Buma

This minimalist black-and-white photograph was taken in London and shows the city without revealing it completely. Iconic elements such as a classic British telephone box, the contours of Big Ben, a street lamp and a passing aeroplane are present, but remain partially out of frame.

The deliberate choice of cropping and plenty of white space creates a calm and graphic image in which London is immediately recognisable without being literal. The aeroplane adds a sense of movement and travel, while the fixed elements anchor the city in time and place.

This photograph is suitable as wall decoration for lovers of minimalist photography, urban images and black-and-white photography with a calm, almost abstract look.
