Monochrome shot of the "Zoobrücke" (Zoo Bridge) in Cologne, Germany. With a total length of 597 meters, the bridge forms a vital connection between both parts of the city that are located on either side of the Rhine river. Its construction began in 1962 and the bridge was opened four years later. Nearly 60 years of traffic has taken quite a toll on the bridge and unfortunately, it is in very poor condition (in 2024). It is currently undergoing extensive renovation and construction is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
