About ‘Monochrome Order 2’ by Karin van Bylevelt

This clean, graphic and abstract artwork is constructed in a black-and-white kaleidoscopic pattern that takes the shape of a perfect, five-pointed star. The composition combines soft, flowing dark shapes with sharp, geometric white highlights, creating a powerful visual contrast. Against the deep black background, the symmetry and perfect balance of the design is highlighted, making the shape seem almost to emerge from the darkness.

My inspiration lay in the aesthetics of minimalism and optical art (Op-Art), where complex shapes are reduced to their most basic, graphic components. The work exudes a sense of calm, order and timeless elegance. The lack of colour focuses attention entirely on the interplay of light, shadow and the clean, architectural lines.

The atmosphere is one of minimalist perfection, mystery and tranquillity. It is an elegant statement that fits into both modern and classic interiors.

This sculpture is special in light, minimalist or industrial interiors where it serves as a powerful, graphic anchor and a subtle, intellectual eye-catcher.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
