The flowers are pink, sometimes white. The flowering season is June to September. The petals are 0.6-1 cm long. The stigma is shaped like and cross. The flower buds are somewhat pointed at the top. The stem from which the flower stalks spring has only curved hairs and no glandular hairs. The stem is round and has no raised lines. The leaves have a round to heart-shaped base and can be 2-8 cm long. They have a short stem. They are light green in colour and are placed opposite to the stem.
