I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest between Harderwijk and Nunspeet on the Veluwe. These mushrooms stood against the roots of a tree of which you can see a piece on the right of the photo. The moss these mushrooms are among is beautiful hair moss. You can also see some needles that have fallen from the conifers. I don't know what kind of mushroom it is, but it is a small mushroom. When I took this photo, some sunlight fell on these mushrooms, to highlight the shadow side I also used a small reflection screen. To take this photo, I hung my camera under my tripod because these mushrooms are quite low to the ground, I also used a remote control to avoid motion blur. For this photo, I chose to crop to 4-by-3 size, I also chose to take this photo in portrait mode to add height and depth to the photo.
