About ‘My Mind Is Bleeding’ by Mads Nielsen

An abstract mix of colors and glimmer was used to create this piece. It is supposed to illustrate my various reactions as a person with autism and the spontaneous things that I never realize I do.

As a child, I was never really in control of my brain and body. I felt that I had a second personality, or charracter if you will, that controlled every move I made or emotion I wanted to express. Sometimes I would react angrily to things that were supposed to be happy events and other times, it would be the opposite. I believe that I made some bad impressions on a lot of people I met in my life and I regret it deeply. When I turned 13, I finally started to regain "control" of that second personality and became to do things that I wanted to do and not what it wanted to do.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
