The walk to Nauthúsagil and Nauthúsafoss is a short hike that is a bit adventurous. Nauthúsagil is a narrow gorge and it is possible to hike upstream to some beautiful hidden waterfalls. There is a sense of discovery and magic as you hike upstream to the two beautiful waterfalls.
The waterfall in this picture is the final destination of this gorge. The place feels mystical, perhaps centuries old, truly a favourite in Iceland.
