The Chicago skyline rises beyond Navy Pier while the large Ferris wheel anchors the right side of the frame. Glass towers step across the horizon and the lakefront buildings add a rhythm of shapes above the calm water. In the foreground the pier’s pavilions, boats, and a hint of greenery give scale and texture, guiding the eye from the marina to the wheel and up to the Hancock tower.

Its ordered composition and readable landmarks make it a versatile focal point.
