I did an internship (for 5 months) with the organisation "Ark in the Park" that has an nature-reserve about 2800 acres. This photo is taken in that reserve, the mighty tree on the back is a Kauri Tree.

My name is Maurice Weststrate and i am from the Netherlands. I am a student at the van Hall Larestein college in Velp.I am studying forest and nature conservation and I am now majoring tropical forestry. I like to capture the beautifull nature and also beautifull peoples and (historic) buildings etc. have mine interest.My first camera was the sony DSC-H2 and since then I am an dedicated Sony fan. I shoot now with the Sony a77 and my little travel mate the sony tx 5.
